Before you call
It helps to have:
- Your address, so the right local company gets your request
- What you need: pumping, an inspection, a repair or a pump alarm
- When the tank was last pumped, if you know
- If you're buying or selling, your due diligence deadline
- Whether the system has a pump tank or alarm
Sewage backing up? Stop running water, laundry and dishwashers until the system is checked, and keep kids and pets away from wet areas in the yard.
